Dressings

John Henry Parker

(1.) The moulding and sculptured decorations of all kinds which are used on the walls and ceilings of a building for the purpose of ornament; (2.) Applied to a square opening in the stonework of moulding which surround it like a frame, such as a brick building with stone dressings.
