We recommend that you prime the columns, then use polyurethane paint (automotive) to finish. Our
Colossal Column is unique in that it can be filled with Quickrete® to "sound" and "feel" more solid
when touched. But the Colossal Column is load-bearing, and does not necessarily need to be filled.
When shipping, we wrap the columns in a foam material that is soft, and the columns rarely get damaged.
Surface scratches and nicks can be easily repaired using Bondo®.
